Nikon S01Campaign
The decision to take my sweet time transitioning back to work has been a very conscious and satisfying one. The past 4 1/2 months have been a total bliss, spending every waking moment watching my little man grow. Being totally disconnected was not hard at all.
I am now slowly trying to feel my way back into the game. As hard as it is, I know it will be good for me in continuing to grow personally and professionally. It will certainly help me grow as a Mom. My latest project is with Nikon, styling the new S01 ‘I AM A FASHION ICON’ camera campaign. It is shot by the famous street style photographer Tommy Ton of “Jak & Jil” and “style.com”. It was so much fun working on this project with Tommy. He is a total professional with a keen eye for details, swift and on point. The idea behind the shoot was simple – to capture how well the compact camera fit into every lifestyle. Check out their fb page.
Happy Birthday to Me
I turned 33 yesterday! And what a wonderful birthday it was, celebrating with close friends and family. There were lots of food, drinks, and more importantly love & laughter! It has been a monumental year for me. Among many treasured memories, the one leading the pack is definitely becoming a mom for the first time. It is has been a blissful year and I am look forward to many more to come.
New baby = New Engery
The past 10 weeks have been the most blissful weeks of my life! I have enjoyed every second with my little Auden so much that I chose to stay offline. I am finally ready to get back into the groove of things. There is so much I want to share: the transition from pregnancy to motherhood, the baby weight & the baby wise. Of course, I can’t wait to incorporate the little one into my style posts.
I have been using instagram & twitter for quick pics & posts under my new alias: SFH_NYsuzii (I will do a full post on this soon). Update: I realized it’s too confusing, let’s stick with SUZIICHANstyle all the way!

My first month as a Mom
One month ago today, I became a Mom. I had no expectation of what really meant, but I accept it with an open mind, open heart, and open arms. This little man has been the joy of our lives and he is the best thing that has ever happened to us. We simply cannot get enough of him. In this month, I have experienced many firsts of my life:
First warmth of him was overwhelming
First cry from him was the sweetest sound
First eye contact was unforgettable
First feed was painful
First diaper change was messy
First bath was clumsy
First week was nervous-wreck due to Jaundice scared
First car ride home was extra cautious
First night home was pure bliss
First month birthday was his first night in his room!
My husband also celebrated his First Father’s Day last weekend.
Our little family has expanded a bit and I looking forward to many more firsts to come.

Happy Due Date!
After 40 weeks of anticipation, the due date has final arrived! Whether Baby Chan will decide to make his debut today or not, we can only wait and see!

Neon & Stripes
Heading into the final week of pregnancy, I am on full force of closet remix trying to come up with new outfit ideas. One of the easiest outfit foundation throughout this entire pregnancy has been fitted tank/camisole and comfy leggings. Everything else becomes accessories to form different outfits. In this case, I topped the foundation with what used to be a shirt dress where I can only wear it as a long shirt cardigan at the moment. Draped with layered necklaces and finished with my two favorite additions this season and it is another outfit mission accomplished.
My two new and favorite additions this season are Neon & Stripes! There are a lot of neon accessories to choose from this season, but at the end, this Mulberry Holiday Small Baywater satchel in Lemon Sorbet was it for me. It’s so bright and happy! Can be worn cross body or top handle. It is also the perfect size for everyday necessities. Then there is the continuation of the non-heels trend I mentioned in the earlier post. I found the perfect compromise – Prada’s platform creepers!!
